The famous Man o’ War Cup was on display in the Saratoga paddock this morning during the draw for Saturday’s 142nd running of the Travers Stakes. Man o’ War won the gold cup, at the time valued at $5,000, when he defeated Hall of Famer Sir Barton, the first Triple Crown winner, at Kennilworth Park in Canada in 1920. The race marked Man o’ War’s final start and was his 20th win from 21 starts.
